Josh graduated from SDSU in 2007 with a degree in civil engineering. After working with many farmers during his job as a land site specialist for a renewable energy company, he decided that the farming lifestyle was something he admired. In 2011 he changed gears and started farming in Imperial, NE growing popcorn, corn, wheat and beans. In 2013 he decided to diversify the farm and bought 2 chickens. 2 chicks became 8, 8 eventually became 200 and now we have 450 birds. Farming and raising chickens is hard work but very rewarding knowing you have provided your customers with something healthy and raised responsibly.
